Reflection on the writhing sonnet
In our language Art class, we had special events for writhing a love poem.
Before I wrote my poem, I think about my love first. My poem is based on what I feel now. When I write my poem, I got little bit of sadness also. Because, I was too emotionally while I wrote a poem.
I spend a lot of times to focus on the rule of sonnet, for example 14 lines, 10 slivers etc. When I had a hard time to writhing it, I asked Aled and Max to organize my poem. I should say thanks for them.
It was great time to write a poem, I could share my feelings with our classmate by love poem and some points we cared each other.

Teaching Civic Responsibility
Teaching Civic Responsibility
The area of teaching is wide. It is really hard to say that which is good or bad teaching and education. The article that we read in class was a great tool that we might have to know as knowledge. They gave us several different ideas with break into few different chapters. While I read this article, I found some great point that I agree myself, which I’ll going to write it by words.
I found an interest quote from first chapter, which is "The personally responsible citizen acts responsibly...” I strongly agree with this statement. Because, just like what they give us an examples, giving blood, recycling, volunteering etc. those are basic stuff that we must have for our own responsibility. Plus, I had experience of these facts. When I did that first time, I hated do that, because, I felt wasting time. But, since I did second time, third time and more, I finally realize myself that these things are really good things that we must have to do. As soon as we have done with responsible to citizen or our society, we will learn how does human have to live with others etc.
Secondly, there was an quote about economy issue called "When the economy’s bad and....." It reminds me to looking back our first semester of Global Ethics class.
We spend whole first semester to focus on facts corporation. Corporations are not always making good business; they give us some bad facts like pollution, losing a job, politics, economy etc. I think, it still hasn’t solved some problems yet or we can’t solve it those problems, but I believe that we can change it into better. If there are some problems around us, it means we can make it better and work.
Lastly, I wanted ask my self this question from reading. "What does this mean for teaching democracy.....?" Reason why I choose this question is because; what I am thinking of teaching democracy is not only freedom, it also teach us either how to develop our self better or for society. If you don't know about personal democracy, it won't help to understand whoever says about democracy. In our school's education system is totally different than any other schools in the world. We choose computer education systems instead of text book and we spend a lot of time to do some community service too, which means our education changes into more relate with our civilization.
When I finished this article, I found some connections with our school’s education system and some social issues from article. But, I realize that teacher and student have to develop their education systems better.

Reaction to Friedman's article
Since industrial revolution had been, We start using a lot of sources for making new products and innovate new stuff for our life become more intelligent. But the cause of innovating new is not always good. Look at our nature, It's polluted by us, and we are going into lack of resources.
On this article, It mentioned about carbon footprint.
Carbon footprint is not just about polluted something by chemicals or using resources. Carbon footprint is basically caused directly or indirectly by an individual, organization, event or new product to make it. It's all from our daily life and school.
HIS designed by 1 to 1 laptop systems for educate. Which means, All of students are using their laptop during class and break time. On this moment, does anyone think about the cause of using about 13 people's are using laptop in same class? While we are using laptop, fan is running to make sure cooling down each laptops, which makes heat out and students who don't have enough battery, they are using charger to charge it, it needs a lot of electricity too.
In order to fix this problem, I think we must try to use our laptop less or use a notebook with pen instead of use electronic devices.

cross dressing day
Could playing with cross dressing be healthy and why?
- It's really hard to say cross dressing day is healthy or not. Because, It's unusual for both gender.
But, I think it's great experience. Because, We get the idea that how boys or girls wear different and hard. For example, boys won't know how girls wear skirts and some underwear too.
here is another example, when girls are late, sometimes they says "Sorry, I late because, I spend a time for wearing pretty cloth". But, If the guy had experience of wearing girls cloth, they would understand. But, if the guy who don't have experience at all, they'll have some fight.
Based on what I wrote, I think, having cross dressing day is healthy, if there is some special events like we are having today. But, if we do that everyday, It'll give us difference of sexual character. That's why we had trans gender in our society.

Ideas for Innovation
Innovation.
It is basically means that the new introduction of new things, ideas or ways of doing sth.
It can be change, develop or improve.
On this article, It mentioned about educational leadership, specially in school.
When i finished read this article, I strongly agreed with this article. Because, academic learning and strength social capital must develop by parents and school. Students has a rights to have good education.
One fact I really like was part 4, which talks about civics education.
creating civic skills, imparting civic knowledge and developing civic values, I think these facts are really important for high school students. People might says that high school education is most important than any other school times. Because, high school education influence the real society life.
But, I disagree on the fact of small school. Because, It's hard to say that small school is always be successful or good for education. It depends on teacher and student like how much efforts put on there responsibilities. As a fact, big school kids are going to good universities.
Because, they have their own skill and good university knows which schools are good.
even though, some writer or professor says big schools are bad, it's hard to break traditional or real facts.

The End of Suburbia
Last class in our Global Ethics class, We watched video clip called "The End of Suburbia".
While i watched this movie, I couldn't get idea. But, when we had class discussion, One thing strike me out was "Sustainability" from Global Environment Issue class last year.
Global Environment Issue class focused on pollution and environment. Which is really important facts that we must know logically.
Now, I'm going to talk about one fact that different between US and Taiwan.
One thing i can clearly see is "Transportation"
US has a great Transportation systems that people using it. Although, it's really organize well.
But in Taiwan, Most of peoples are taking motor cycle in state of using Transportation systems.
We know riding a motor cycle is convenient, But It makes a lot of CO2's every year. Which attacks ozone.
I think, Taiwanese governments are not really focused on organizing Transportation systems every where in Taiwan. Because, they ride motor cycle's more than riding public bus.
The reason why Transportation systems are important is because, As soon as people start using transportation systems, We can save our energy and Air pollution. Air pollution is one of the reason that cause of Global Warming, which makes Ice melting and green house effects.
In order to success transportation system, Governments has to come up with Organize plan and they have to make sure advertise well enough to citizens.
We have to be more serious at some problems that we can fix it before everything is turn into
bad situation.

Big Organic and Enron Corporation
Recently, Our Global Ethics class watched movie called "Enron". Last class, We started read One of the chapter from a book called " The Omnivore's Dilemma". Which talks about Organic foods.
The following chapter talks about the principles of organic farming in modern America.
Michael Pollan the author of this book shows that, while organic food has grown in popularity, It's producers have adopted many of the methods of industrial agriculture. While i reading, I found interesting quote.
"How to grow this stuff (Organic foods) without chemicals was a challenge, Especially to city kids coming to the farm or garden with a head hull of pastoral ideals and precisely no horticultural experience."
I just felt that even if we're buying organic foods, chemicals are still inside and City kids like us having chemical foods most of our daily life, which is very familiar.
One fact strike me out was that "While the economic and social distances separating the well-heeled shoppers cruising the aisles at Whole Foods from the un-heeled homeless in people's Park could not be much greater, the two neighborhood institutions are branches of the same unlikely tree."
I mentioned Wal-mart as a example on my Enron blog, But, On this moment I could get interesting points that no matter what kinds of business, It always connect with economic and social distances. Why does Enron fall down? Because of economic issues. But, the difference is Organic food business is hard to fall down unless people won't buy it. But, I just want say that this Organic food is also one of the reason for Wal-mart to survive.
In my conclusion, I felt really hard to understand this book with connections between Enron.
But, I found some interesting questions that he came up with.
"Organic food .. better for what?Taste and for my health."
"Is it also better for environment? the public health? for the tax payer?"

Psychogeography
It’s really interesting to know the word “Psychogeography”. It can be made into deep and thoughtful simply by look throw it and think creatively. When I heard this word, I didn’t get what is psychogeography means, but now I get sort of idea. There is no right or wrong to defined Psychogeography, it’s all based on your thought and your creativity.
Site Specific Performances
This idea makes me to looking back some places that I’ve been before. But, I felt quite happy to find some places inside of school.
Basketball court and roof was really good to have music performance. We don’t feel something crowd, we can feel a lot of freedom and enjoy. I’m the one of the person who is going to have music performance. I feel strong aggressive and I strongly believe that all of students who are going to have performance, they can do tremendous job.

I was quite shock at what people does in 1950s and 1960s which represent about Corbusier style modernism. Group of artists, writers, activists, students were attacked city planning as an ideology of organized social isolation. I don’t get why they did that but I guess it’s a part of their thinking and the way they express their feelings.

Enron "The smartest Guys in the Room"
While we watched documentary called “Enron, The smartest Guys in the Room”, I personally felt little bit boring. But, as soon as I try to enjoy and understand, I found something cool facts.
First, I was shock at how much Enron Company grow fast. And it’s similar with what we discussed from last year our Global Ethics class. We discussed about War-mart.
How do they marketing and how do they their businesses. So, the following result was huge. War-mart has a lot of different shops around world, plus a lot of employs. Now, I want go back to Enron. This company grew up 1.700% with in 15 years. But, interesting facts is that we don’t know why big company such as Enron fell down.
Second, I could make my self to think about government systems again. Kennety Lay who was CEO of Enron closed with George W. Bush and Richard B. Cheney.
Based on what I researched about relationship between George W. Bush and Kennety Lay, I found interesting facts. Until George W. Bush get a president of United State, He got about 600,000 US dollars from Lay.
I still don’t get the real points of Enron’s documentary, But, One thing I found my self to know is that, clear business and be honest is always stands for right answer for safety business.

Short paragrph after wathing BBC documentary
While I watched this short video clip from the BBC documentary called Blood sweet T-shirts,
I found one fact that relates to the book we just read (Travels of a T shirt in a Global Economy). At the end of video clip, the students experienced working in factory making cloth. It’s very similar with Shang-hai factory in the book. They worked really hard, but the payment isn’t that good. It happens in real society too, mostly because they have trouble between their owner and the workers.

William McDonough- TED
Last class, we watched McDonough's TED talk. As soon as we finished, we began to read a new chapter from Hawken's book. While I watch and read, I had really hard time to get ideas like what's the main idea and what things do I have to get from them. But, one thing I felt really good was when Donough talks about our society from our perspective.
I found a connection from last year GE class.
When humans are starting to live in earth, they invented a lot of things since cave man. But, most amazing invention was using sources, energy and technical devices. As soon as we start use different tools, our society also changed a lot by us. But, have you ever think about real society's problem? How we going to dear with our environment issues? While he give us a presentation, he came up with different questions but I personally felt these two questions are really important and must know it for knowledge.
"How can we secure local society, create world peace and save the environment?" I spend a time to think on this question, but it was hard to say what things we can do. But, after he came up with another question, I got myself an idea.
" How do we love all the children of all species for all time? I think that's our job and homework until the earth disappears.
One thing we can really do is that, educate and make more safety society for our kids and generations. That is what we can really do now. We make most of society problems. Which means, when children's grow to adult, they have possibilities to make another social problems in society. So, we must have our children to make sure educated well on good way or bad way.
I'm not sure my idea is clear enough or connects to our topic, but, I strongly believe that we must keep our species.

Waste not
Before I read this chapter, I thought this story would talk about our waste, but I was wrong. As I looked into it, a lot of thought stroked me, especially when I figured out my internship.
My internship is in PDP LCD Glass site in Tao Yuan Company called CPT. Those PDP Glass factories use tons of chemicals each day for making their products. They dump wastes into water or air. If those companies don't have great systems of dealing with all the wastes, they are contaminating both the water and air, which creates a lot of pollution. All these cause Global Warming.
The reason why I am interested in this chapter is because there are some connections between it and my internship; I can see what's out there in the real world instead of what’s in the books. What I mean by real is that I can actually see how they throw away contaminates. Also, I will learn how to use those machines to either make products or make clean wastes.
I was quite shocked when I read this chapter because of the way author explains about how the amount of our waste are huge and I couldn't get myself over it.
Now, I’m really excited about my internship, which also relates to my senior project. I'm ready to do it and I will share a lot of information with our class.

Inquiry Question,
We spoke about our senior project last class. I personally really interesting in Media.
I spend lots of time to search and think about how it can change to interesting topic.
Finally, i found interesting topic. "How does media affect our society"
This topic will cover with historical of media, how do they change into our daily life and what cause of media in our society now etc. I can't write all of it but, i found my self that really interesting and have to know as a logically. Weird T-Shirts
We had research for finding some weird and funny T-shirts. I found pretty interesting Korean “Kuso” t-shirts from Internet.
“JORNAN” this is from Korean Word means rescue. As you can see, the logo supposes for Jordan hold a basketball. But, people create something different because, they want make people to have fun and enjoy.
Can you notice it? Jordan is in danger and helicopter carries him for help and it says on quote. "I remember your Help."
Second T-shirt is also pretty interesting word.
this word is like usually use when big guy try to scare little guy.
As you can see Big puma try to scare little puma and says IMMA.!

Social Sculpture
We had a skype with the artist from Chicago during a class.
Soule Golden, She had lots of time to do fashion works in Chicago.
While we doing interview, We all felt shy to ask some questions it also included me.
Basically what she said was that, if the people who wants to applying art university, portfolio is extremely important. Because, Art is not like show how much do i know or solve some questions like normal subjects. Art has to express and show everyone. When i heard that, i was thinking that i should think about great portfolio. Because, i personally pretty interesting in media.
I haven't decide between business course and media for my major, but i really want try to applying art university for my interest. One of my dream is working in Public Broadcast systems.
So, it'll be great chance to go art university for my dream.
Before i have to decide my school, i think i have to focus on two things. One is get set up a portfolio just in case. Second is make sure all prepare for applying business school.
Soule Golden, She had lots of time to do fashion works in Chicago.
While we doing interview, We all felt shy to ask some questions it also included me.
Basically what she said was that, if the people who wants to applying art university, portfolio is extremely important. Because, Art is not like show how much do i know or solve some questions like normal subjects. Art has to express and show everyone. When i heard that, i was thinking that i should think about great portfolio. Because, i personally pretty interesting in media.
I haven't decide between business course and media for my major, but i really want try to applying art university for my interest. One of my dream is working in Public Broadcast systems.

The silence of Silicon Lambs
In our Global Ethics class, we read an article about Science Park in Hsinchu Taiwan. Yay ! That’s our city we live right now.
As we know, Taiwan's IT (Information Technology) improved a lot last past year and it become Taiwan's most successful products, such as Computer chips, PDP, and LCD etc.
Do you know how to make those products?
PDP and LCD is relate with semiconductor, which I want to work for my future. My dad working on Semiconductor Company and I often get a idea of semiconductor. LCD and PDP made by glass. They’re easy to break. When people making these products, they have to mix different kinds of chemicals with different pump line. That's why big company's like Samsung, LG, Hynix, TSMC, AUO, Chimei etc has different section of their factory. When they are making products, they are using tons of different kinds of toxic chemicals.
Those products are really great tools for our life now. Without any technical products, our life will have some problems. But, have you ever think about any bad situations?
Factories are actually hurting our environments right now.
For example, as I said before, for making glass, they need tons of different chemicals and a lot of wastes are also coming out too. Some factories has great systems of cleaning their waste but, some factories not.
These chemicals are different than what we usually know. In order to cleaning waste, they must have a good waste machine. If not, it's cause of water pollution. Humans can't live without fresh waters, but, if waters are polluting by chemicals, there is no answer for live. So, the country who has week law of it, they should organize law of waste chemicals.
Just like what these article said, we have huge problems about those of silicon lambs. We have to think about those issues before we start making new products. Otherwise, we are going to lose or hurt more nature and real environment.

After Reading Cat's Cradle
I think, This book is most confuse book i have read before. Especially, Last few chapters are mostly confused.
On the last few chapters, the story is going to like this.
Before Dr.H died, He gave 3 ice nine to his kids. Newt,Angela and San Lorenzo's son.
But, Newt lost his by sleeping with own Russian woman. Angela lost hers by Americans and San Lorenzo's son used his for murdering papa monzano. The story going like that Ice nine is most incredible inventions but it's really dangerous. and it suddenly made all grounds turn into ice land. But, Frank, Newt, and Jonah still alive and met bokonon at the end of chapter.
I think, this whole book telling us to do looking back what we did. Because, last message of Kurt Vonnegut was "If i were a young man, I would write a history of human stupidity; and I would climb to the top oh Mount McCabe and lie down on my back with my history for a pillow; and I would take from the ground some of the blue-white poison that makes statues of men; and I would make a statue of myself,lying on my back, grinning horrible, and thumbing my nose at You Know Who." When i read carefully of last message, Only one thing was strike me out. which is If we had great or something memorial happen, do write about it. But, if that is bad thing, don't ever try it or keep it. Because, all the place turn into ice by amazing invention called "Ice Nine".

8th grade Exhibition
It was a yesterday's Language Art class, we discussed our final project. And we decide present to all school. which time will be day A morning during all school meeting time.When I heard that, my brain was totally dead. Because, I always feel nervous and afraid at presenting to all school. I haven't done this kind of big presentation in my life before.
Next day, D-day is come which is presenting day. when I arrived school, I was so nervous. Because,I have to do presentation to all school. sigh.. yes, this is part of learning that how to do better presentation. while I going up to 5th floor, I met my classmate. He said he also felt nervous, because, he is in ESL class. But, we cheered each other for luck. As soon as I get in to the 5th floor, I signed my name on the sheet and saw Jim is setting a projector and sound systems. I felt like wanna go into little hole or hide somewhere but well, I have to do for my grade.
when the bell was rang at 8:00 AM, Mr.Ruskovich start announcements and SRC special events were came out and gave us a announcements. It was fun and they made me to forget some nervous.
Now, the time is come, Everything is ready ! I was reviewing my index card that what i'm going to say. Well, i think i was hide my nervous, But teacher knew that i'm preety nervous now. And He came to me said " You are the leader right now, don't be nervous just show them what you have." But, i couldn't forget the feeling of nervous. Because, two Jack's laughing really big, it makes me to get more pressure. Anyways, the presentation started, I'm the second turn. My presentation will be short video clip.As soon as first person finished, I connected my computer to projector and started. while I explain about my presentation, I saw lots of teacher's focusing to me, two Jack's are still laughing which I don't know why and I saw my girl friend sitting with her classmates. Wish I'm same grade as her. Becuase, She don't have this presentation today. I just wanted hide somewhere while i'm presenting. As times go about 2 minute later, I finished my sentence and showed my video clip. It was really fun movie with rock music. Everyone felt really high at that time, when I saw their face I was happy and high too. Because, I made them to fun and enjoy.
After I showed video clip, everyone gave me a big clap. I don't know what to say about that feeling. It was like i got a price of some competitions or got all "A" on my grade.I think, I learn lots of things from all school presentation. I learn that "I CAN DO IT". before I start, I didn't know I can do successfully, but after I finished, I know I can do it.
